Organised by The British High Commission in Singapore, the event focuses on the challenges facing the financial industry, the wider corporate world and governments. Presenters from the Government, Finance and Technology sectors will be on hand to discuss topics such as Anti Money Laundering, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Tax Evasion, Regtech, Sanctions/Terrorist Financing and emerging threats and opportunities.
Chye Kit will be involved in 2 discussions. On September 25 at 11:10, he will be joining a panel of RegTech experts to speak on the subject of implementation of RegTech solutions info financial institutions and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of opting for in-house development versus development outsourcing. After that, at 12:10, he will be joining Benedicte Nolens, Chief Compliance Officer at SC Ventures, to talk about the burning subject of cryptocurrencies, blockchain and the ways RegTech should adapt to these new technologies.
