As a part of our continuing relationship with Ethikom Consultancy we have successfully concluded our participation in their latest Regulatory Meetup titled “MAS CP: Derivatives Contracts on Payment Tokens” where we had an opportunity to share our RegTech experience and regulatory insights pertaining to the latest Consultation Paper issued by MAS which proposes to regulate derivatives with digital payment tokens (cryptocurrency) underlyings for Approved Exchanges.
The event was focused around a panel hosted by Robin Lee of MD Xperientia, which welcomed a number of respected panelists including our CEO and Co-Founder - Chionh Chye Kit, who came together to cover the implications of the CP on local businesses and offer recommendations on ways for retail investors to prepare for the incoming regulations.
We are grateful to have once again been able to contribute to the regulatory discussion platform Ethikom Consultancy has provided and look forward to attending more events in their organisation during 2020.
