We are delighted to attend and speak at the event titled “How new technologies can fight financial crime in Malaysia”, organised by REFINITIV on 12 September 2019 at Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur. As the fight against financial crimes in Malaysia has been declining, this event aims to bring in the relevant stakeholders to discuss the problem and explore how data, technology and collaboration efforts could help to alleviate the problem.
During the event, many leaders from various industries were invited to share how they have been using new technologies to fight financial crime, as well as the importance of data in helping to drive technology to counter the problem. Chye Kit had also participated in a panel discussion that debated on the role of data and its significance in empowering technology and thus, helping to better tackle financial crime.
We would like to thank REFINITIV for having us to be part of this discussion where not only did we have this opportunity to provide our expertise and knowledge in the compliance field, we also had a deeper understanding of other interconnected domains, as well as on the above-mentioned topic.
