Wrapping Up The Compliance in Asian Wealth Management Forum 2020 Event, Organised By Hubbis


We have successfully wrapped up another compliance focused event, namely the Compliance in Asian Wealth Management Forum 2020 which was held this Thursday, January 16 at the Andaz Hotel in Singapore.


This, the event’s eight installment organised by Hubbis, gathered CEOs, COOs, Heads of Compliance, Compliance Officers, Heads of Legal, Risk Management, product gatekeepers and RM’s at Private Banks, Trusts and Fiduciary firms, Asset Management firms, Insurance Companies, Independent Asset Managers (IAM), External Asset Managers (EAM) and Multi-Family Offices (MFO) with the goal of helping them tackle the ever-growing domestic and international compliance challenges in Asia.

Our co-founder and CEO, Chionh Chye Kit, was a part of the event’s opening panel which revolved around the subject of “Conduct - Governance – Accountability: The hot topics for 2020”. The panelists tackled a wide range of subjects which included the main compliance challenges for the year ahead, the importance of compliance and regulations to business owners, MAS’s stance towards accountability and conduct, compliance challenges during Bank client onboarding and others.


The event turned out to be a great opportunity for sharing regulatory and compliance knowledge with the experts, as well as the interested attendees who could benefit from the provided insights and we look forward to participating in more Wealth Management forums in the future.
