In this regard, we are pleased to announce that we have adopted the relevant guidelines proposed by Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) in Singapore. The objective of TAFEP is to help organisations adopt fair and merit-based employment practices in Singapore.
Under the Tripartite Guidelines, Cynopsis Solutions has adopted 4 key practices: (1) Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA), (2) Unpaid Leave for Unexpected Care Needs (UCL), (3) Recruitment Practices (RP) and (4) Grievance Handling (GH).
FWA allows employees to have a reasonable work-life balance and the flexibility to better manage their work responsibilities and personal commitments whilst provision for UCL allows employees to juggle work with unexpected caregiving responsibilities. These are important considerations that Cynopsis Solutions’ management supports especially in the current Covid-19 pandemic situation.
As for RP, Cynopsis Solutions adopts a fair and merit-based employment practices by selecting potential employees based on merit and role-suitability regardless of nationality, age, gender, religion and so on. In Cynopsis Solutions, employees can bring up their grievances and complaints of discrimination directly to the senior management and CEO without any fear or favour.
