For the second time this year, we are joining hands with Ethikom Consultancy with the goal of nurturing regulatory discussion in Singapore. This time around, we will be sharing our KYC, AML and RegTech insights at the Ethikom Regulatory Meetup titled “MAS CP: Derivatives Contracts on Payment Tokens”, which will be held on Monday, December 9 at the PSA Building, 460 Alexandra Rd, Singapore.
The event looks to cover the MAS’s recently published Consultation Paper (CP) proposing to regulate derivatives with digital payment tokens (cryptocurrency) underlyings for Approved Exchanges. Our CEO and co-founder Chionh Chye Kit will be on hand to discuss the implication of the CP on local businesses and the ways to prepare for the impending MAS measures.. Participating in the discussion, along with Chye Kit, will be Herbert Sim, the Bitcoin Man and Founder, Crypto Chain University, Sam Ahmed, MD, Deriv Asia and Head of Regulatory Sub-Committee, DX and Jeff Premer, CEO, Vaultex Exchange.
