The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) returns again this year for the 3rd time since 2016. As the largest financial technology event in the world with more than 30,000 participants, it has provided a global platform for the FinTech community to discover and share more about the latest developments in areas of the blockchain, artificial intelligence, cyber security and digital financing. Panel sessions and pitches were also held to discuss on the potential of using technology to bring economic growth to the next level.
Exhibiting at the event with two booths this year, it was an eventful week for both Cynopsis and traceto.io as we connected and shared our solutions with many delegates from all over the world.
FinTech Award 2018
In addition to the ongoing exciting conferences and pitches at the festival, the FinTech Award 2018 Ceremony was one of the main highlights of the event. Cynopsis is pleased to announce that we have clinched the first runner-up Singapore Founder MAS FinTech Awards in this year’s Singapore FinTech Festival! It was a proud moment for us to celebrate as the prestigious award not only recognises companies with the most promising FinTech solutions, but it also represents a recognition for the hard work and effort that Cynopsis has put in developing our products.
Automated Know-Your-Customer Solutions
At the three-day exhibition held as part of the event, we met with many delegates in search of a comprehensive automated Know-Your-Customer (KYC) solution. Many of them, in particularly, for start-ups and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), are still facing a highly manual and labour-intensive KYC process and are looking for a streamlined and cost-effective solution that can assist them in meeting their KYC/AML needs comprehensively.
The exhibition gave us an opportunity to showcase our flagship product, Artemis, and share how it can help to resolve the pain points faced by many businesses. Cynopsis is also honoured to have presented our solutions to Christine Lagarde, the Managing Director and Chairwoman of the International Monetary Fund.
Artemis, software developed by Cynopsis Solutions, focuses on providing automation and digitalisation for KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes. It is closely tied to the ACRA guidelines to ensure that companies can achieve efficient regulatory outcomes at a cost-effective level. Automating the KYC/AML process also significantly improves data quality and provides audit trails to strengthen your business’ compliance operations.
Wrapping up SFF on a high note
As one of the largest global FinTech event comes to an end, we are pleased to have been able to exchange valuable insights with many professionals alike from around the globe. Not only was SFF 2018 revolutionary and impactful, the event also demonstrates the importance of a building a global platform for the FinTech community to connect and collaborate. By promoting FinTech inclusion on a global scale, it enhances the FinTech ecosystem and its ability to harness technology’s potential in solving the emerging needs of businesses.
We thank everyone with whom we have crossed paths in the event and we look forward to seeing everyone again at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2019!
